Conclusion
Student will write a three paragraph essay arguing either for or against the researched career. The paper will take a stance and then be supported with evidence, namely advantages and disadvantages of the career.

List 5-10 Disadvantages of the Career





1.    Introductory paragraph should grab reader?s attention and include a thesis.
2.   Body paragraph should be thoughtfully organized and advantages and disadvantages should be written in order of importance.  Facts and commentary should be utilized to support thesis and clarify stance.
3.   Concluding paragraph should restate the thesis, but not seem stale.  It should also do one of the following:
?   include a brief summary of the paper's main points.
?   ask a provocative question.
?   use a quotation.
?   evoke a vivid image.
?   call for some sort of action.
?   end with a warning.
?   universalize (compare to other situations).
?   suggest results or consequences.
